"Saturday is a night of full-on rock at the Turf Club. Featuring ex-members of Marked Men, Denton, Texas’ Mind Spiders play loud and fast garage rock with elements of surf rock and Ramones-style bop. It’s searing, retro guitar rock that still sounds super modern at the same time. Also playing is Twin Cities’ own Japanese punk band Birthday Suits. This duo combines blaring punk garage rock, and breathless, energetic performances, sung in both English and Japanese. The Slow Death and Nato Coles and the Blue Diamond Band open, with DJ Paddy Costello keeping things moving between sets."
